The children in Knockmore JNS use maths every day in school during their maths lessons, but also just for fun.
Did you know that we have a maths board on the corridor? This is a place to play with shapes and numbers.
We celebrated 100 days in school on Wednesday the 8th of February. There were lots of fun “100 based” activities done throughout the school that day. The Junior Infants made a ladybird with 100 spots, and the Senior Infants even counted up to 100. Well done boys and girls!!
After Food Dudes week, the children in 2nd class did a survey to find out their favourite fruits. Apples were the favourite in 2 classes, whereas oranges were a favourite in another class.
